Presentation and Discussion On Saturday, May 15th, from 10 am-12 pm at the Downtown Campus of City College in San Francisco Tree, the inspirational leader of Produce to the People, spoke about his work in SF to make fresh produce available to all through the Free Farm Stand. Come and learn about building a true grass roots movement that includes creating community gardens, gleaning, and volunteer opportunities. An open board meeting followed at noon. On Saturday, July 17th, from 12 - 3 pm at Dolores Park in San Francisco Our community celebrated AASCEND's Annual Picnic!!! All were welcome and it was well attended by both current and prospective members. We enjoyed food, beverages and each other's company. |
